…thank God for that!
It’s been a crazy few days and tonight I finally get to see Ami! She’s been away on vacation and we have a lot of catching up to do…
Yesterday after work and a short visit to the Dr, I met up with a friend for some shopping. Only got a few small things, like nail polish and eye cream. Then we sat down for some mexican food and some froyo!
Came home, showered, and then watched TV-shows and movies before the game started. Bosnia was playing Argentina in a friendly game in St. Louis. With the time difference the game started at 2.30 AM. I went to bed at 4AM and woke up around eight. Super tired right now!!!
I started off my Monday morning with a visit to the dentist at 8AM. Worked until 5.30PM and have since then been cleaning up at home. Did the dishes, and cleaned up in the bathroom and changed the bedding in my bedroom. I just put in the second load of clothes, waiting for that to finish and then I’m gonna take a shower and watch a movie before bed.
Hope you all had a great Monday!
‘We are all blessed with sensitivity. Whether or not we choose to use it is another story but we do tend to overlook how connected to many other facets of our personality sensitivity is. It is how we respond to others that they respond to us and someone in your world appears to be connecting with your sensitivity now. Channel this productively. Don’t let it be fueled by resentment.’
‘When we want to make progress and find ourselves struggling, we tend not to look closely at what we’re doing wrong. If we’ve invested effort and find ourselves struggling, we wonder what more we can do. You are understandably tiring of lack of progress in some way. Prepare for evidence that your efforts haven’t been in vain and you haven’t been working a wrong program.’
‘Fear needs to be nurtured if it is to be kept alive. It becomes concerned when we start becoming confident and optimistic. Fear that likely surrounds your emotional and material situations might appear justified and could convince itself it can make itself comfortable for a while longer. It’s about to be made very uncomfortable. A certain fear is about to be removed from your world.’
‘Who’s to blame for this? Who should be blamed for that? People can be very quick sometimes to point fingers of blame – and often a bit too quick to point them elsewhere! You could get involved with a ‘who’s to blame’ discussion now, but would doing so be helpful or constructive? Avoid the tendency to rake over old ground. It’s where you and someone else go from here that matters.’
So funny reading this the day after a very heated argument with a X…
‘Flying in a luxurious jet might make a flight considerably more comfortable and bearable but it doesn’t mean we’re likely to arrive any faster or more safely. There are still numerous serious factors to take into account even though the journey is a pleasant one. You, on the other hand, really can trust that, where you are heading, you are more protected than you probably realize.’
