Last night I came home around 8.45, was in a meeting until then. I was gonna go straight to bed but as usual I ended up doing some more work. I’m not writing this for you to feel sorry for me or praise me because I know we all do it. But when your dad starts warning you that you work too much and should at least have a weekend a month to rest, then you know it’s serious. I usually never spend a weekend at home, and this one is no exception. BUT, this is not a working weekend instead I get to spend the weekend celebrating Azerina’s birthday with my sistaah, in Stockholm. I also get to see Ilke and Linda, who is in town from Sarajevo. One day I’ll write a post about Linda, my friend from Åland that lives in Sarajevo…
-We need old friends to help us grow old and new friends to help us stay young-
I’m spending this weekend with my sister and one of my best friends at her house. It’s her birthday tomorrow and the weekend is for us to enjoy each others company and to have a great time. Which I know we will. The beauty of being friends with someone is that they’ve been there with you through a lot, fun and sad times. They are part of memories that you cherish. Only a friends you’ve known for years can say ‘Remember when…?’ and in an instant you’re back to that point in life that seemed very distant at first but once mentioned you can remember it very clearly. You remember what you wore or where you were and what was said at that exact time. I’m looking forward to these moment with my new friends as well.
I went to bed last night around 6PM and woke up 8AM this morning. Yeah, that’s how crazy my weekend was. Friday was chill with a dinner, like I told you in the post before this one. Saturday on the other hand. Well, it was an all nighter let me tell you that. Slept for like an hour after the after party and before breakfast. I had fun with my friends and all the new people I met.
Wednesday are hard, I had a hard time getting up this morning and also the day in General was a struggle. I was just super tired.
After work I headed to my grandparents house for some dinner and after that to the mall to pick up a few thing and meet up with J and A for a coffee. Always fun hanging out with the two of them. Now; a movie and then bedtime…
“Friendship isn’t about whom you have known the longest… It’s about who came, and never left your side.” ♥
A year ago I met this girl called Dina. She came into my life through work. My first impression of her wasn’t totally wrong but it was a bit off, I have to admit. From the first time we said Hi, I knew she was level-headed, strong-minded and could speak her mind. And those are all qualities I love in a person. In the time since we’ve known each other we’ve gotten really close. She has been a great and loyal friend. She’s been there for me through thick and thin, in all aspects of life.
I’m thankful and blessed to have a friend like YOU!
So coming home late I crashed pretty much instantly. Yet I woke up this morning around 8.30 like I hade been asleep for days. Got up, took a shower, had a quick meeting and then headed to Ami’s house. But here’s the funny part. As I was putting gas in my car I almost put the wrong kind. I only got a little in the tank before I realized. Like the tiniest little bit. I called my dad in total panic and he reassured me that it was fine. It wasn’t gonna mess my car up.
Drove over to Ami’s house, had a coffee and then her and I took a walk. It was as long as we intended it to be because my damn trainers were messing with me. Gonna throw them away and buy new ones. Went back to her place and played Ludo with her and her brother. Then after lunch we just chilled on the soda before I left and headed back. Stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few things and then went to get my car cleaned. It was way overdue. Came home and I’ve been home ever since just killing time and working a little of course. Planning a trip to Sarajevo and a cruise with my girls. Looking forward to this spring and summer, should be a really good!!!
