Hello, I know it’s been a while but I’m back. I want to focus on the blog much more in 2017 and I know I’ll have more time to do so.
This time I’m here to give you a look back on my year, this is my 2016 in rewind. I’ve chosen 7 highlight from this year to sum it up. Why seven? Well, it’s just my favorite/lucky number. And this is in no particular order…

I plan on doing all the things that make me happy and that I WANT this year, no matter what other people think.
I wanna work hard on building this ellviisa.com brand and also bettering my self and my life from every aspect.
I also have a lot of exiting things to look forward this year one of them is being a maid of honor at my best friends wedding this summer. I can’t wait!!! I wanna be there every step of the way, the planning has already started and the next part is a trip to Bosnia to see the wedding venue in Mostar and also help her pick her wedding dress. So exciting! I’ve never been the girl to dream about a wedding for myself but I still find this very exciting!

If you follow my blog you’ve read about a surprise trip I was given for my birthday. I only found out where I was going when I got to the airport early Thursday morning of last week. And just as I had guessed and hoped for, it was London.
I was going with my sister and one of my best friends lives there, so I know it was gonna be a great trip. What I didn’t know was that one of my other best friends would show up too. Actually I guessed someone else I knew was coming but I couldn’t ever guess it was Dina. Not that she wouldn’t do this for me but because it was Valentines Day weekend, and she made me believer she was spending it with her boyfriend. He even was in on it, texting me about restaurant ideas for V-day.
Once again I’d like to thank everyone for the flowers, cards, FB messages, phone calls, SMS messages, blog comments, presents and for being there. You’ve all made my birthday super special and given me an amazing start to the new year.
Your love means everything to me.

Hello my lovely friends
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. This weekend was my very talked about birthday party, the big one. I know I’ve a few smaller get together’s. It was an awesome party and all my faves were there.
I got some amazing things that I’m very very thankful for and I’ll show you all what it is, probably in a YouTube video over on my channel.
But the coolest gift is a trip! I’m going somewhere in the middle of February with my sister. The gift is from her, Ami and Dina, but there is a catch. I have no idea where. I just got instructions on what to pack and where to be at a certain time. That is all. I hate surprises so this is literally killing me. I hate the wait and the suspense. I even offered to pay people off for them to tell me. But nobody would. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…
I had my friends Dina and Ado over here for a bite to eat this evening. I’m surprised Ado even showed up because there are rumors flying around that we don’t even like each other. This is super funny to me…
As soon as they arrived we went to get pizza and then back home. I’m still super sick but it was nice to leave the house for a few minutes as the restaurant is just around the corner from my house. Back home we ate and had some cake before we all fell asleep on the sofa. Dina worked all day and then took the train here, it’s almost a four-hour journey. Ado didn’t sleep last night and neither did I because I’m sick. So yeah, a nap was really nice. They were considering staying the night for a while but because it’s Ados birthday on Sunday and they have plans tomorrow they went home.
I got the most beautiful birthday gift, a pair of Guess earrings that I’m absolutely in love with. Not gonna show any of my gift until my big party next weekend. Then I’ll do a post/video.
They also got me this beautiful cake, Visa is my nickname!
And since it is Ado’s birthday on Sunday, we had to sing happy birthday…I’m sure he wanted to cover his ears as he is the singer and we’re definitely not…
Yesterday was my birthday and it was an awesome day! A lot of people sent me wonderful birthday messages and also flowers, a bunch of flowers. I went to work for a little while and brought my co-workers cake. A friend took me out to lunch and then last night I had some friends over. I knew they were coming over but I wasn’t ready for the surprise. When I opened the door they started singing and presented my with a cake with 30 candles on it. There were so many candles on it, it looking like a damn fire…LOL…I do have a video of it but I’m choosing not to post because I’m choosing to respect their privacy.
We had so much fun and they ended up staying until around 1AM.
This was only celebration number one. There will be a few more before the big party next weekend.

Can’t even believe the year of 2014 has come to an end. It flew by super fast and here I am reminiscing. I love the fact that I have this blog, it allows me to look back at the good and bad times. It’s life and it goes up and down. That’s what this year has been for me, up and down. I’ve had some great moments and a few bad ones as well. Thankfully more good than bad, many more good than bad. I’ve learned how to say No and stand my ground, I’ve also learned to put myself first in certain situations. I’ve traveled and spent time with some amazing people. I’ve realized even more how much my family means to me and how much love is there. Overall it’s been a great year I must say because I choose to think about the positives instead of negatives.
I’m looking forward to 2015 and what it has in store for me. I’m turning 30 in seven days and that is a huge milestone in itself.
I wish my family, friends, my blogging friends and everyone else around the globe a happy and prosperous 2015.

So many people have asked me what I want for my birthday and these are the things I could come up with. I was gonna do 10 items at first but I could only come up with seven. All I really want is health and happiness for myself and my family and friends. And, for us all to have a great time at the party!
