Back home
So sad to be back home from Sarajevo! This trip was one of the best trips of my life. Honestly. I got to hang out with a lot of friends and family, there was no drama and the weather was amazing. The Sarajevo derby was the highlight of the trip, for sure. In two months I’m back in my beautiful city again. Can’t wait!

The weekend
I spent the weekend spring cleaning except for a movie date, we saw Insurgent, with N and lunch at the grandparents house on Sunday. The struggle is real, let me tell you. I have way more clothes, bags, shoes than I can fit in my tiny walk-in-closet.
How was your weekend?
Selfies while I waited for my friend to pick me up
About last week…
If you follow my blog you’ve read about a surprise trip I was given for my birthday. I only found out where I was going when I got to the airport early Thursday morning of last week. And just as I had guessed and hoped for, it was London.
I was going with my sister and one of my best friends lives there, so I know it was gonna be a great trip. What I didn’t know was that one of my other best friends would show up too. Actually I guessed someone else I knew was coming but I couldn’t ever guess it was Dina. Not that she wouldn’t do this for me but because it was Valentines Day weekend, and she made me believer she was spending it with her boyfriend. He even was in on it, texting me about restaurant ideas for V-day.
Tha Party
Here is one pic from the party, the only one posted on Facebook by Dina. I was so busy being the host I didn’t have time to snap pictures or selfies. I can’t even believe I don’t have one single selfie from the party. That’s crazy! But, I do have a bunch of professional pictures that I’m going through at the moment!
Will do a post later on and show you…
Lookin’ back!
Can’t even believe the year of 2014 has come to an end. It flew by super fast and here I am reminiscing. I love the fact that I have this blog, it allows me to look back at the good and bad times. It’s life and it goes up and down. That’s what this year has been for me, up and down. I’ve had some great moments and a few bad ones as well. Thankfully more good than bad, many more good than bad. I’ve learned how to say No and stand my ground, I’ve also learned to put myself first in certain situations. I’ve traveled and spent time with some amazing people. I’ve realized even more how much my family means to me and how much love is there. Overall it’s been a great year I must say because I choose to think about the positives instead of negatives.
I’m looking forward to 2015 and what it has in store for me. I’m turning 30 in seven days and that is a huge milestone in itself.
I wish my family, friends, my blogging friends and everyone else around the globe a happy and prosperous 2015.
I’ll end this year of blogging with some of my favorite pictures of 2014.

Merry Christmas
Christmas in Kläppen
Christmas this year will be spent in Sälen, Sweden at the resort called Kläppen. I’m going with my cousin and his family. And honestly I can’t wait. I feel like I’ve wasted a lot of time spending it with people who aren’t really my friends. No more of that, from now it’s all about family and people who might not be blood related to me but that I feel are like family.
Hey, I’m back!
What amazing things three days with family can do!
I came home last night feeling rested and refreshed ready to take on the big bad world. This weekend was just what the doctor ordered for me. My heart is full and my body and brain rested. Chose not to blog while there to give myself time to enjoy it to the fullest. And that I did…
I got to spend some real quality time with my parents, went to see my aunt twice, had my cousin and his family over…the only bad thing about the weekend is that I only got to see my sister for like an hour…
Yeah, family time was what I wanted and that’s what I got.
Now, it’s back to business!
The trip didn’t start out very well, I was in traffic for about 20 minutes before even leaving my city limit.
