Burgundy love
Everyone that knows me knows of my love for burgundy, especially in the fall/winter time…
I was just reminded over the weekend of how much I love this jacket from H&M after wearing it for the first time in weeks.

My love for Nude
These last few days I’ve been on a cleaning spree, going through all my beauty stuff. While doing so I discovered that I’m a nude, natural, gold, earth tone eye shadows junkie. I knew a natural eye shadow is a favorite of mine but I certainly didn’t know I had that many.
Here are some of my faves, the ones I actually use every now and then, all the others are in a box with all my other palettes and single eye shadows that I rarely use.
What are some of your favorite nude/natural singles or palettes?
As you can see I haven’t gotten the go-to nude palette with bloggers, The Naked ones from Urban Decay. That is because I think as long as you have a good eye shadow primer pretty much any and every eye shadow will work…

Love H&M
These last few years H&M has had some amazing bags in their collections and this year is no exception. I came across a post on Instagram while searching for a burgundy bag for fall of a bag from H&M and I fell in love. It’s the perfect sized bag for me and exactly what I love. I had to get it even though I really don’t need it as I was gifted three bags this summer.
But just look at it, isn’t it amazing?
I know it’s gonna be a favorite this fall for me…
Spring in the air

The sun is finally peeking out and it is giving me life.
My usual makeup base with an Elizabeth Arden lipstick, Cassis. And Essence Quattro eyeshadow.

I freaking love spring!
Work mode is in full effect. I have so many exciting things going on, I leave work just to go home and work some more. The sunshine we’ve been having these last few weeks is doing wonders for me and my creativity. As soon as I can tell you about the things I’ve been working on, you know I will.
Later today I have a meeting and after that I’m meeting up with some friends for a drink. Therefore I incorporated my going out outfit with my work outfit.
Quilted Rainbow
Yesterday I went to the post office to pick up a few packages and while waiting for my turn I popped in to my local H&M store. As soon as I saw this top I fell in love with it. It screams spring to me and reminds me of a rainbow for some reason. I think this will be a staple for me this spring/summer. I see myself wearing it with shorts as well as skirts, pants and jeans.
With it I see myself wearing my new shoes! I picked these up this weekend! I love a casual look and these will go great with my style. My favorite are the plimsolls.

Corporate
This is my corporate look.
 I want to tell you guys about this H&M lipstick that is amazing considering the price. It’s only 3.99 pounds but really great quality.
H&M came out with these matte lipsticks not to long ago and just last week I picked up the nude shade that goes by the name Beige/Bardot. I’m in love with it and I’m going to pick up at least one more shade, there are four.

My wonderful weekend.
After last weekend and the week I had I was really looking forward to the weekend. One of my childhood best friends Azerina was coming to see me and Saturday couldn’t come fast enough. She only lives an hour and 20 minutes away but life gets in the way a lot of the times and we don’t see each other as much as we’d like. I picked her up at the train station and we went to pick up lunch, then went back to my place where we chilled until it was time to go see Ami. While there we had some pancakes and hung out being girls and helping each other get ready. We had dinner reservations at Tabazco at 7.45 and stayed there until almost 11PM. Such fun times.
Azerina left around 1PM. I went back home and did the dishes before heading to go see my friend Nejra. But before I met up with her I did a little bit of birthday party supplies shopping. I think I’m almost done. There’s not much left. The menu is done as well and I know what the tables will look like. My sister is doing the cake, I don’t know what it will look like  but she promised to stick to the colors I’ve chosen.
Met up with Nejra and we walked around the Christmas market for a while and then sat down for a carrot cake and a chai latte. We sat in a corner on the second floor and didn’t even notice we were alone. All of a sudden this girl who works there comes over to tell us they closed almost 10 minutes ago. We headed towards the car and ended up sitting in Nejras car for another hour. I guess we had a lot of things to catch up on.
The rest of the evening was all about Chicago PD. Such a great show!
