So, as some of you might now I’m gonna be turning 30 years old at the beginning of 2015, more precisely January 7th. On January 17th I plan on having a birthday party. For the last few weeks I’ve been putting the planning off but now it’s back on as I’ve just confirmed Ado&Dino to play. Sure I know the guys and we’re friends but the fact that they are choosing to spend the evening making my party better is awesome!
It is now time to start the hardcore planning and getting the invites out ASAP. And because I’m having a lot of people out-of-town coming in for the party I need to deal with the sleeping arrangements as well. Thankfully I have some great people around me, willing to help.
The hardest part of this whole thing, for me, is the guest list. I’m a very social person and I have friends all over, some people might even be flying in from different countries for this party. I’ve chosen to invite only the people really close to me, that I talk to and that have been there for me. So if someone who thinks they’re getting an invite doesn’t, it shouldn’t be a total surprise to them.
As the new year approaches and the big milestone of turning 30 I’ve become less stressed about what people think of me and I’m living life for myself therefore I don’t have time for petty bs, to be honest with you. If you think I’ve done something to you that’s unfair it’s probably because it’s a reaction to something you did to me…But let’s all be grown up about every situation we enter and life will be great. I think we can all agree on that…
Now, let me think of the cake I want!!!
I’ve been playing this song on repeat for days!!!
So, the title speaks for itself. Every week I’m gonna put the spotlight on a person whose style I like, male or female. And this week it’s Demi Lovato. I don’t really keep up with Demi but I keep seeing pictures of her here and there and I love what she’s been wearing this past year! I like her edgy style and she seems to like a lot of black, just like I do. Her hair and make up has also been on point lately.
I love her hair in this picture, this is what I want
So, changed my mind last night and went to see John de Sohn. It had stopped raining for a minute so it was all good. After the show I ended up at an afterparty with some people I didn’t really know that well but it was still a great night. John de Sohn is really really good! In my attempt to not bring a big handbag I forgot my phone at home and it felt so strange all night. Everyone knows I love my phone! I came home around 3am and woke up and 9am, so I’m still a bit tired. Today I was gonna clean and just be productive but my BBF just invited me to go shopping with her and her mom, so I’m gonna go do that instead! That’s how we socialize and I haven’t seen her for a few days!!!
Have a great Sunday, everyone!
So me and my friend ended up going to the city festival instead of the lake. Walked around for a bit, shopped a bit, had something to eat and then we were gonna go see a movie but decided to have a drink instead. I was gonna say didn’t get much but that’s a lie. I got a few things but I spent very little money.
So, this store is closing and they were having a sale. I got 6 pairs of shoes for, wait for it…246 SEK, which is basically 36 dollars. Isn’t that crazy!?
The boots I’m gonna give to my mom, but I love all the flats and the open toe wedges!
Drinks at Vardasrum (Livingroom)
John de Sohn is playing tonight, outside and it’s just started raining! I really wanted to go but as I wrote in my blog yesterday, I’m not really a fan of festivals therefore I think I’m gonna pass…
I woke up a while ago even tho it’s saturday and I said I’d sleep in. I’ve just had breakfast and I’m waiting for my friend to let me know what we’re doing today! We’re either gonna go to a city music festival or the lake…
Today is the first day of Bråvalla, a music festival. You can call it the swedish version of Glastonbury, maybe. 50.000 people are expected to be there. That’s a lot yeah?
I’ve been to festivals before but after my horrible experience at Hultsfred festival a few years ago I don’t think I’ll ever go again. Honestly I don’t see the point. It’s just to dirty for my taste. No showers, and the portable bathrooms stink. You sleep in a tent, you’re cold, it’s probably raining. Yeah, you get the picture! All that and the fact that you can see all the artist in concert at other places too. And the line up at Bråvalla isn’t that great either. There are only a few people I’d like to see: Armin van Buren, Avicii, Frank Ocean and maybe Far East Movement, that’s it. So not worth the time, money and being in the dirt for…!!!
