Catch up!

Hola!

How are you all!?

I’m just stopping by to say hello. I’ve been trying to get everything ready for when I’m away on vacation in the next few weeks, therefore the absence.

This weekend I got to spend some quality time with some of my fave before we all split up and head in different directions. Actually, while writing that last sentence I realized I get to see them when we are away as well.

Three weeks in Bosnia and Croatia is what I’m looking forward too…

What are you guys doing this summer. Are you traveling.

Happy Birthday to ME

WOW

I can’t believe I’m 30 today! 30…3…0…

I don’t feel 30 and I don’t look like I’m 30, I guess that is a good thing though. Right?!

I’m not where I thought I’d be at this age but I am very happy with my life the way it is at the moment. I don’t think I would change it even if I had the chance.

I’m gonna embrace the next chapter…Bring it on!

World of wanderlust

So, www.worldofwanderlust.com has listed their Top 15 travel destinations of 2015 and my beautiful Bosnia is at number one. I’m not the least bit surprised. This is what they had to say;

A picture tells a thousand words… and Bosnia & Herzegovina is one of the most picturesque countries off the beaten path. Fortunately it is still flying very much under the radar – making now the perfect time to visit (but be sure to be quick!).

Thankful!!!

I’m so thankful for all the amazing and wonderful people I have in my life.

My weekend started of by me leaving work and going to Ami’s house. Her cousins were also there and us ladies had a girl/spa night. So much fun with a lot of laughing and fun conversation. Ended the evening with us looking through old photo albums. Our families are connected in more ways than I can explain with a very long history.

Saturday I slept in and then went to get my car sorted. That took pretty much rest of the day and in the late afternoon I headed to the ‘grandparents’ house where I had dinner and then got ready for the party. I promised I’d help out at the door and we, Irma, S and A ended up spending the night there. pretty much. We ran in a few times to dance but that was it. It was too hot inside.

Sunday I spend shopping with an old colleague of mine. I left my house around 11am and got home around 6pm. I’ve spent the evening in work related calls, answering work related emails and watching YouTube videos. It is now after 12AM and I’m gonna take a shower before bedtime.

Already wednesday

Yesterday was not a good day for blogging. Way to much going on. But Monday after a meeting in town I met up with my doll Ami and spent the whole evening with her. Just having a bite to eat and some Fro Yo. It was great catching up as the whole summer has blown by so fast with a lot of exciting things going on. For example SHE GOT MARRIED. Yes, I did attend her wedding. DUUUH, of course I did. For me it’s always a pleasure attending weddings. It just means you mean a lot to that person for them to include you in the biggest day of their life, pretty much.

Fun weekend

This weekend was a good one! Started by going to hang out with a bunch of people Friday night. Saturday I woke up at 6.40 AM. By 7.15 I was having my car washed and at 8 AM I had my yearly inspection. Then back home and did two loads of laundry and after that I met up with a friend for lunch. Took my grandparents to the airport after that. Had a quick coffee and then back home just in time to change for a charity party. Dressed up in a cute spring outfit only to arrive there and it’s pouring down. Thankfully I had a jacket in my car. Didn’t stay long at all. It was super boring. The band, consisting of one person sucked. He was more screaming than singing. The whole thing felt a bit off and weird. But, the money is going towards Bosnia and that’s good. I’m still glad I went and helped out a little. Came home and got ready for bed. Watched a movie and then slept. Yesterday (Sunday) I was working during the Elections, all day. Went to bed around 1.40 AM and woke up 7.20 this morning. Yeah, very productive weekend!

#prayforbosnia

Friends, followers and amazing people of the world. I ask you to please donate to the people of Bosnia. 20 years ago there was a war that tore my country apart and now this. This is the worst flooding in the last 100 years and people have lost everything. The worst part is that it doesn’t seem like the rain is gonna stop any time soon!
You can donate via Red Cross or find a local organization that is helping.
If you do donate please let me know by emailing me;
ellviisa@yahoo.com

Thank you!

Palim klub…

My favorite song at the moment. I can see me and my friends cruising the streets of Bosnia blasting this…

I’m gonna have my car and we’re gonna go to places like Prijedor, Kozarac, Sarajevo, Mostar, Trebinje and Dubrovnik. Should be a great summer!!!
