Yellow, my love!

I’ve been looking for the perfect yellow blazer for a while and I had almost lost hope of finding one, until I randomly one day saw one through a store window in Sarajevo. I walked straight to it and grabbed on, which happened to be in a size perfect for me.

I tend to wear black a lot, it’s like my happy color, and it isn’t to make me look skinny, I just love it. I guess because it’s so easy to match with everything else that I focus more on, like colorful bags.

I couldn’t find the exact same blazer/jacket but I found a really pretty one in the same color from a store I won’t even mention because the sizing was freakin’ ridiculous.

In love with Hallhuber

While at the airport in Munich, during a delay, I stumbled across Hallhuber, a random store I’m now in love with. After browsing for a while and being helped by an amazing shop assistant I walked out of there with not one, but two new bags. They were both on sale, for a great price, I just couldn’t leave them.

I originally walked in because of a straw beach bag but when saw this clutch I changed my mind.

Granted, I still want the beach bag and I might get it but since I had already gotten a few new bags while on vacation I opted for the two smaller ones. ( I’ll show you the other one in a separate post))

Right now there is an amazing sale going on (and I want everything) but unfortunately they don’t deliver to Sweden. I might just have it sent to a family member or a friend in one of the counties they do deliver too and have them forward the package to me…

We’ll see!

In Sweden, where I live, we don’t have the makeup brand Essence! So, whenever I travel in Europe I make sure to pick up a few things to try!

While I was away just a few weeks ago I stopped by the Essence stand with my list of things people have recommended online or to me personally but I only found a few things. Most of it was sold out.

Hello my faves!

Hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and that you are well rested. Now, it’s time to get it!

Lets make 2016 the best year of your life. That is my plan!

I plan on doing all the things that make me happy and that I WANT this year, no matter what other people think.

I wanna work hard on building this ellviisa.com brand and also bettering my self and my life from every aspect.

I also have a lot of exiting things to look forward this year one of them is being a maid of honor at my best friends wedding this summer. I can’t wait!!! I wanna be there every step of the way, the planning has already started and the next part is a trip to Bosnia to see the wedding venue in Mostar and also help her pick her wedding dress. So exciting! I’ve never been the girl to dream about a wedding for myself but I still find this very exciting!

Primark beauty

Most of you know by now that Primark has it’s own range of beauty products. And while I was in London I picked up a few pieces to try. Especially because I had read that they were good.

Among other things I got this 8 HOUR DEEP HYDRATING CREAM with argan oil. And let me tell you, it’s really good. Or should I say, was really good because I’ve run out of it. In the winter time I get dry patches, especially my cheeks and putting this cream on before going to bed every night has really helped. I usually use a Nivea face cream that I love but this Primark one, considering the price, was pretty good too.

I know people always say if the price is high the quality is better and I just want to point out that that isn’t always the case.

Do you have any budget tips? What is something I need to try?

 

Max Faxtor lip liner

I usually only post about products I actually like and would recommend for you. But, this time I have to warn you about a product I was really excited about. It’s a Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Liner. I got it while I was away because I had forgotten my favorite lip liner, a Rimmel one that is now discontinued. I was actually looking for a similar one color-wise and this was the closest one to it, that’s why I got it. I was hoping it would be a good alternative to my Rimmel lip liner.

Oh boy was I disappointed. First, the tip broke the first time I was applying it and then, I couldn’t sharpen it. In the end I was able to do so but the liner itself keeps breaking. I think the reason for that it that it feels very dry. Also, the color was much more an orange tone than pink. It looks like it might be a nude pink color that matches the skin but I couldn’t really match it to my skin at all, even if i rubbed it a little.

So, this i a product that really isn’t worth getting. Spend your money on something else.

Wearing dresses!

Those of you that know me know I don’t wear dresses a lot. Well, at least I didn’t before. This last year I’ve been wearing dresses and skirts more and more. And I actually feel comfortable in them whereas before I didn’t. I hated going to weddings because that required me to wear a dress. And now, I’m already looking for a dress to wear to my best friends wedding next wear. I know the color and the style I want.

Here are two outfits I wore in the last few weeks.

This leopard dress is from H&M, I got it just a few weeks ago. You might still find it in your local store although I didn’t find it online.

Here I’m wearing a New Look dress that you can find in the sale HERE . It’s only 7,20 Euros, a total bargain! With it I’m wearing Zizzi tights and Primark wedge boots.

Love H&M

These last few years H&M has had some amazing bags in their collections and this year is no exception. I came across a post on Instagram while searching for a burgundy bag for fall of a bag from H&M and I fell in love. It’s the perfect sized bag for me and exactly what I love. I had to get it even though I really don’t need it as I was gifted three bags this summer.

But just look at it, isn’t it amazing?
