I’m looking for a matte nude lipstick. I’ve tried a few. IsaDora, Viva La Diva, Maybelline and Rimmel but non of those has the perfect formula. Either they aren’t really matte or they are really drying and make my lips look and feel weird.
I hear NYX Liquid Suede in Sandstorm is good. But it looks more like a brown color rather than a nude. Someone told me it dries to a nude finish.
I’ve been looking for the perfect burgundy lipstick for months but still haven’t found one I absolutely love. Please comment below and let me know which one is your favorite. Preferably matte, but any suggestions is welcome!
Last night I was feeling ill, I ended up snoozing on the sofa with the TV on in the background all evening. I also had a major headache and had to take a painkiller before going to bed.
This morning I woke up feeling so much better and refreshed. It’s been an intense week, I think I just needed a break and to switch off.
I didn’t know what lipstick to choose so I closed my eyes and just picked one from my drawer of lipsticks. Ended up with a lipstick I got in a Glossybox two years ago. I don’t think I’ve ever worn it before but I made myself put it on and I actually like it. I already got a compliment on it walking into my office building this morning.
The pictures don’t really show the true color. It’s not as pink as on the top picture and it’s also not as orange as on the bottom picture, it’s a mix in between and really pretty.
I’ve gotten the question about my cheeks quite a few times. What do I do and how do I contour. To be honest, I don’t! I don’t know how to contour that well…I just apply bronzer on my cheekbones. And they become defined like this. Of course it’s not all make up. It comes from my dads side of the family, my sister and a few of my cousins have them as well. Some more than others.
I’m wearing a Elizabeth Arden lipstick, if anyone knows the shade, it’s a shiny nude one…please let me know…!!!
While I was in London I picked up a Primark lipstick. I heard they were good and had to try it for myself. And at only £1.50, you can’t really go wrong. Yes, like any other lipstick out there you do have to re-apply throughout the day but other than it’s a great one. This is the matte long-lasting formula and it is exactly that. For me it lasts a long time and is matte. And what’s even better is that it’s not drying on me, at all.
The shade I’m wearing is Lollipop and it comes in three more shades. I only picked up the two different pink shades. There is also a red one as well as a nude. But, because I don’t really wear red lipstick and I already have a nude I’m happy with I didn’t pick up those. A decisions I’m regretting right now…
My lip combo today is Lumene Natural Code lipstick in the shade 3 Nude Beige with IsaDora Express Star gloss over it, it’s in the shade 54 Reflecting Bloom. I have the full size version but I like the travel size better because it’s easy to bring along for touch ups during the day.
